The Hebrew Bible reveals both Abraham’s faults and God’s faults:
Lord Yahway tells Abraham “the outcry of Sodom and Gemorrah is so great and their sin is so grievous that I will go down and see ….” [18.20]
Abraham then “approaches Lord Yahway, and asks, ‘Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?’” [18:23].
